Ipod Nano 3G. is working fine

Actually I am quite busy with my Job, therefore I am unable to give a detailed how to get the Ipod Nano 3 Generation workign with Linux. However,it is not that difficult and I simply refer you to Will's site. He offers a script able to keep the file iTunesDB intact, so your iPod displays the correct number of songs.

The page you linked is not working. Is it possible you can mail me the script with some detail how to use it or post how to use it on your blog. I am new to using iPod with Linux.

    Hi,

Well I am not using the Script anymore…Today there are other(easier) solutions available. Check for example(all support the 3G Ipod):

You can use one of the following players coming with Linux together with libgpod library(http://www.gtkpod.org/libgpod.html)
    Amarok, Exaile, Rhythmbox, gtkPod,

This is a lot easier then using the script manually, after uploading music to the ipod…

    Regards
    Thierry

iPod nano is very good as a walkaround mp3 player. my only complaint is that the included headphones lack good bass. I replaced it with the Sennheiser CX-300 and the sound was awesome.
